FED EX Cold Chain (5/5/25 to 10/06/25)

Temperature-controlled wine shipping services help protect your wines from summer weather conditions while en route to its destination. Refrigerated trailers maintain a constant temperature to select destination hubs.

FedEx Cold Chain offers a temperature control shipping throughout the hot summer months. Packages are placed onto a temperature-controlled truck and taken to one of the 4 hubs. *NOTE, packages are not on a temperature control truck for the last mile. We always recommend to ship to a business address or a Fedex hold location.

  • How it works:
    • Orders are processed every Monday and packages are picked up by a FedEx Temperature Controlled Truck on Wednesday or Thursday and then delivered the following Tuesday/Wednesday by 10:30am,12:30pm (unless your customer is outside the jurisdiction).
    • Order(s) must be submitted no later than 10:00am on Monday, anything past 10:00am will be processed the following Monday. All order(s) must have the FCC as the ship via.

FEDEX Summer PRIORITY OVERNIGHT

 (5/19/25 to 10/31/25)

  • This service offers Overnight Shipping for a cost lower than 2-Day Express in most areas!
  • How it works:
    • Orders must be submitted to us no later than 12:00pm for next day shipping with the carrier code FEP.

ICE PACKS

  • Ice packs are available year-round. However, we do keep a limited quantity on hand during the colder months (plan accordingly).
    • *Note, we recommend shipping express East of the Rockies as the ice is designed to last up to 3 days. We also recommend shipping to a business address.
  • If you chose to ship more than 20 orders with Ice Packs, you must advise us
  •  2 weeks in advance (Wine Clubs, Releases or Promotions). That will allow us to assure availability.
  • How it works:
    • If you need to add an ice pack to your order(s), just simply include ICE PACK in the Special Instructions column of the order. That will ensure that the order(s) will ship with ice packs.
  • Price:
    • 1 to 3 bottles are an additional $4.00 per box
    • 4 to 12 bottles are an additional $8.00 per box
